Hello my name is Jacob Caulder the older brother of Ethan Caulder. June 18th 2025 approximately 11PM Ethan was involved in a serious car accident as he was traveling down US17 towards Bolivia NC right after ending his double shift.. It’s uncertain what actually caused the accident as of now all we know is he was on the way home and crossed over left lane from the right, going threw the center of the highway, crossing both on coming lanes of travel and going back off road where the vehicle went over a driveway and into a ditch that then launched the truck airborne where he landed in the woods about 150ft from where he originally hit. Currently he is in stable condition with a broken foot, bruised ribs and lungs. He has a couple of sutures on his forehead/brow area, with a concussion and a good bit of cuts and bruises throughout his whole body. As of right now he is unable to walk due to his injuries. It’s thought to be he will be out of work for a good bit of time. With him being unable to work it will put a little bit of a financial strain on things making it harder for him to keep bills caught up. Ethan also is fostering/ the legal guardian to our niece Nevaeh. We are asking for help to assist Ethan with any financial bills he may have, along with a little help to be able to care for himself, our niece whilst he is unable to work. Ethan is a hard working young man and has never experienced this kind of trauma or been in this type of situation before. He is stressing over things that are out of his control just because he has worked so hard to be where he is now and doesn’t want to get behind on things. We thank god that he is alive and already starting to recover well. While this accident is very unfortunate we are so glad that no one else was involved or injured.
