Help Ethan Experience a Life-Changing School Trip

Our family is reaching out to hopefully receive some financial assistance to provide a once in a lifetime educational opportunity for our oldest boy. This year, as an 8th grader, he is eligible to attend a school trip to Washington DC and New York City through Explorica. Unfortunately, this trip comes at a time when funds are already tight due to the decrease of my work hours, so that I can accommodate the needs of all 3 of our children. To be available for school pickups and drop offs and everything in between. Also, I must be present for our youngest son, who during the week has Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, he is Autistic and sometimes needs assistance at school. All those things have made funds a bit tight for us and make it difficult to fully fund his trip.

Ethan is an amazingly kind, and hard-working kid. At home, and at school, and he was just appointed one of the captains on the football team. He has been dreaming of this opportunity since last year as a 7th grader. There is only room for 50 students to attend this trip and spots are filling fast.

He will have the chance to visit an abundance of historical monuments. Such as several museums, the Supreme Court building, Arlington National Cemetery, the Smithsonian, the US Capitol, the WWll Memorial. A ferry boat ride to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building. A subway ride, and a guided tour of lower Manhattan, including all kinds of other educational opportunities. In the usual course of things, we are not the type to ask for this sort of assistance, but we have swallowed our pride for the benefit of our Son. Any little bit would help.
