Help Ethan Compete for Teen Mr. Dance of America!

My son Ethan, and my daughter Norah, are fundraising for their dance education and competition at the Dance Masters of America National Convention this June & July.

Dance Masters of America provides a strong environment for dance education, including each of the varying genres of dance, but also technique, history, theory, conditioning, and practice. Ethan absorbed a tremendous amount 2 years ago. In addition, DMA prepares them for real-world scenarios by putting them through auditions and a rigorous interview process, complete with dance résumé submittal. This helps teach interviewing skills in preparation for future educational or job interviews. All of these items will help their growth, especially as Ethan continues his pursuit of a professional career on Broadway or within the entertainment industry.

Ethan would like to share the following:

Hello there! My name is Ethan, I am 15 years old, and I am the 2025 Teen Mr. Dance of Michigan. I’m proud to return as the title holder once again, after my tenure in 2023.

I won the title at the Dance Masters of Michigan competition earlier this year, and as the title holder, have an obligation to represent our state at the National convention beginning in June. This year that will be in Orlando, FL. I’m thrilled to once again have the opportunity to compete for the title of Teen Mr. Dance of America, but also to further my dance education.

For those of you who may have helped in my quest 2 years ago, I want you to know that you made an incredible difference and I’m still grateful for your support.

I have continued to work very hard since my last opportunity to compete for the Teen Mr. Dance of America title, and have my sights set on capturing that National title. I would be extremely grateful for any small/manageable amount that you may be able to contribute to provide me with the ability to afford the considerable expense of this opportunity. When people say “every penny counts”, it couldn’t be more true.

Norah would like to share the following:

Hi! My name is Norah and I am 12 years old. Attending this National convention will give me an opportunity to learn more, experience new things, meet new people in the dance world, and get experiences that I normally wouldn't have. I will be competing in a duet with my friend Sarah, who is graduating this year, and it will be our last chance to perform together.

Your support in helping me make it there would be incredible and I would be very grateful!

In order for them to continue pursuing this opportunity, we need a little help to be able to afford the expenses that are required for the 10+ day competition and convention (lodging, food, rental vehicle, gas, competition and class fees, etc.). Our fundraising goal doesn't cover all our expenses, but rather simply enough to allow us to afford the opportunity.
