Ethan has earned his place at the University of Oregon's top broadcast journalism program--but right now, he may have to walk away from it.

Despite working incredibly hard and earning an academic merit scholarship, he still faces a $28,400 gap that must be closed immediately.

Ethan must register by May 1. If he commits and we can't close the gap, he risks losing Oregon, his merit scholarship, and any outside scholarships we are waiting on. There is no safety net--just a leap of faith.

Ethan is driven, focused, and deeply committed to his goal. This program is uniquely hands-on from day one, giving him real world experience covering Division 1 sports and school events, and

he will graduate with a reel of work to help launch his career.

He has applied for additional scholarships, but decisions won't come until after the enrollment deadline. Ethan has an aid package through FAFSA and will take a student loan. The change brought by the Big Beautiful Bill limits the amount a parent can apply for to 20K. Next year he qualifies for departmental scholarships. Right now, this moment matters!

We are asking for help to bridge this gap so Ethan doesn't have to give up the opportunity and sit another year out. Every contribution--no matter the size--moves him closer to being able to say yes to his future.
