Help eternity get heart surgery and a out of state second opinion.

An Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) is a congenital heart defect ("hole in the heart") present at birth in the wall separating the two upper chambers (atria), causing oxygen-rich blood to flow from the left to the right atrium.

ASDs cause the heart and lungs to overwork, potentially leading to heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, and stroke, often requiring repair, can also cause fatigue, shortness of breath (especially during exercise), frequent lung infections, heart murmurs, or swelling in the legs.

A Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) is a common congenital heart defect consisting of a hole in the wall (septum) separating the heart's lower chambers. This allows oxygen-rich blood to flow from the left ventricle back into the right, causing high pressure, extra work for the heart, and potential lung damage. Symptoms, appearing weeks after birth, include fatigue, sweating, fast breathing, and poor weight gain

She also has Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is high blood pressure in the arteries of the lungs, a serious condition that can lead to right heart failure by making the heart work harder to pump blood. Symptoms include shortness of breath, fatigue, dizziness, and swelling in the legs. PH can be caused by heart disease, lung disease, blood clots, or unknown factors.

We have been to the hospital multiple times and they have sent us home saying everything is ok then one day her oxygen level dropped and we were checked into sunrise hospital were they discovered the asd , vsp and ph we then stayed there for a week and a half and she got prescribed medication and were sent home and told to come back when she is 4-6 months for open heart surgery, at home she is has a strong cough sound like she choking on her own fluid and still having breathing problems and sometimes eating problems, this is only one hospital out here that can deal with this situation we tried to go to another hospital to get a second opinion and was told we would have to get transferred back to sunrise because they couldn’t do nothing and was sent home . We need help so we can get an out of state second opinion and possibly do the surgery there as well because our first born son died at the hospital they want to do the surgery at and that’s the only hospital that can do it so it’s a sticky situation it’s hard to work when we’re in and out of the hospital and trying to be there for my family and stay on top of all the bills on my own at such a young age we appreciate all the help and support thank you so much.
