Conoce a Estiven Parejo, es un niño de 6 años que vive en Macanillo, Venezuela con su madre soltera y su hermano de 2 años. El 15 de octubre de 2020, en medio de una pandemia mundial y una crisis económica en Venezuela, Estiven fue diagnosticado con leucemia linfoblástica aguda.

Durante el año pasado, la madre de Estiven tuvo que dejar su trabajo y cuidarlo sola y llevarlo a citas en el hospital para recibir quimioterapia y medicamentos.

Sin embargo, el costo de la quimioterapia, los exámenes médicos y los medicamentos han afectado grandemente a la madre de dos hijos. Además de esto, hace dos meses Estiven recayó y actualmente se encuentra en un ciclo de rescate a la espera de un trasplante de médula ósea.

Ninguna familia debería tener que pasar por momentos tan difíciles, especialmente una valiente madre soltera con dos hijos.

Meet Estiven Parejo, he is a 6 years old boy who lives in Macanillo, Venezuela with his single mother and 2 year old brother.

On October 15th 2020, in the heart of a global pandemic and economic crisis in Venezuela, Estiven was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Over the past year, Estiven’s mother has had to give up her job and single handedly care for him and take him to regular hospital appointments to receive chemotherapy and medication.

However, the cost of chemotherapy, medical examinations and medications have taken a toll on the mother of two. In addition to this, two months ago Estiven relapsed and is currently on a rescue cycle waiting for a bone marrow transplant.

No family should ever have to go through such difficult times, especially a brave single mother of two – this is why we are asking for your support!
