Help Esther’s family rebuild after the Lytton fire

Hello, my name is Sophia. I am the mother of two children, Esther and Jacob.

We came to Canada in 2014, wanting to start a new journey and settled down in our cute, quaint community of Lytton. Having left everything behind in Korea, it was a struggle restarting our lives, but we managed to make a great load of friends and were able to create a home for ourselves in this community.

Heartbreakingly, all of what we have built in this community was taken from us by the fire, leaving us with nothing once again. Within minutes, the fire swallowed everything we had and we had to evacuate with nothing but the slippers on our feet.

Our hearts also go out to our friends, as we all search for what steps to take next and pray we may all stay safe and come together again in Lytton.

We are trying to stay strong and hoping for the best and we’d truly appreciate help in anyway. It means the world. Thank you for hearing our story.
