Help Esther Stay In The US

My name is Esther Perez, and I'm facing deportation from the US. 
I moved from Mexico City in 1994 at the age of 9. We moved here for a better life. I lived in Colorado since then and established a life here and became a mother of my now 20 yo son who is my world.

 


In 2011 I was detained by immigration and kept away from my son for over 40 days. My immigration case started at that point and was finally able to obtain a work permit and drivers license. Today I am facing possible deportation due to a minor crime, a misdemeanor I committed when I was 19.

 

My son is my pride and sole source of continuing to stay and see him become the great man that he aspires to be. Separating us is going to cause a tremendous hurt and stressful affect on both my son and I. Not to mention painful.

 


I have obtained a pardon from the Governor of Colorado. My lawyer filed for an appeal with the board of DHS which was denied and my pardon was not taken into consideration. I've hired a different lawyer that believes the appeal decision was harsh and unfair. He is going to go a different route which will be costly but with great potential. Due to the denial on the appeal from DHS. Time is not on my side as deportation has been ordered if action is not taken within the next 3 weeks. I am continuing to pray for strength and doors to be opened. I am faithful to Jesus and am fully assured that this will end in a victory for Him.

 

I need to raise $2500 to pay for my attorney by Friday December 17th. Any financial support will be of great help. This is the only home that I know.
