Help Esther rebuild her modular, after devastating theft

I’m reaching out on behalf of Esther Roozendaal, also known as Estroe, a cherished friend and my partner in music. Together, we have been exploring and creating modular music, sharing this journey of discovery and passion. During the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), Estroe gave a masterclass on Modular Synthesizers, sharing her deep knowledge with others. Unfortunately, later that day, her entire modular synth setup, worth thousands of euros, was stolen from her car. This loss has been heartbreaking for her, and I’m asking for your support to help her rebuild.

A Modular Synthesizer is not just an instrument; it's a deeply personal creation. Each modular synth is built up piece by piece over a long period of time, with every module carefully selected to create a unique setup. It’s a one-of-a-kind instrument that can’t simply be replaced by buying something off the shelf. For Estroe, her modular synth was a labor of love, representing countless hours of dedication and an irreplaceable part of her creative process.

Beyond being a talented musician and synth expert, Estroe is also a teacher at the Conservatory of Electronic Music, where she shares her passion and expertise with aspiring artists. She’s a respected coach who is always there to support others, offering her time, skills, and a listening ear to anyone in need. Her kindness and generosity have made a significant impact on many, both within and outside the electronic music world. It feels particularly unjust that someone who has given so much to others is now facing such a difficult situation.
