Help Esther Rebuild After Her Apartment Fire

Esther is a beloved member of the management team at the Grand Delancey at Market Line in the LES. On Wednesday, January 12, Esther was asleep at her apartment when a fire erupted in the kitchen, trapping her in her third floor bedroom. Thankfully, she was transported to the hospital where she is now stable and on the road to recovery.

If you've been to The Grand Delancey in the past 2 years or just in and around the LES or Bushwick you've probably met Esther. Whether it's seeing her run around to make sure everyone at The Grand Delancey is having the best time or having a casual after work drink with her you know how much heart she put into everything she does.

Esther is lucky to be alive today but she will face many challenges--both medical and financial--in the weeks to come. We hope to raise enough funds to offset her initial medical expenses, arrange for a short term housing solution, and replace some of her necessities that were lost in the fire. Please help us to get this member of our work family back on her feet.
