Esther was living a normal life until 2019 when a devastating accident left her with a debilitating kidney injury. She underwent surgery and got better 3 months later, until a sudden relapse in 2022. Despite the best medical efforts, Esther’s kidneys were severely damaged, forcing her to rely on dialysis to survive.

For 2 years now, Esther has been undergoing dialysis treatments two times a week, each session lasting four hours. This grueling routine has taken a significant toll on her physical and mental health, as she has been relying on family members for support. Also, she has gone through mini-surgeries in between, from the Internal jugular line surgery, to Fistula, then Fistula rupture and back to Internal jugular line. All these mini-surgeries have been scary and uncomfortable.

Despite these challenges, Esther remains determined to regain her independence and live a full life. A kidney transplant is the only solution to free her from the burdens of dialysis.
