Help Esther Compete: A Senior's Last Wish

Hi, my name is Esther Jesse, and I’m a high school senior with a dream. Over the past four years, I’ve had the privilege of competing in speech and debate, an activity that has shaped me in ways I never imagined. It has truly been the most transformative experience of my life. As I approach the final chapter of this incredible journey, I face a challenge that feels overwhelming: the cost of continuing to compete. Two major tournaments—Emory University ($500) and NIETOC ($750)—are within reach, but the financial burden is beyond what my family can manage right now.

That’s why I’m reaching out for support. My goal is to raise $1,250 to cover the fees for these tournaments and ensure I can finish this season strong. This activity has given me so much, and my dream is to have the privilege to compete one last time, to have the chance to represent my school, share my voice, and showcase everything I’ve worked so hard for over the past four years.
