Help Esther with life altering medical condition

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Isabelle Dinh and Esther was the first friend I made in college. We shared a dorm together, an apartment together, and dreamed of graduating together. As a junior majoring in Food Science at UC Davis, Esther had high hopes of finding internships and graduating the following spring. However, on February 19th, what started as feeling pins and needles in her left calf turned into severe blood clotting that began spreading to other parts of her body over the course of a few days. She has been diagnosed with a rare condition called DIC (disseminated intravascular coagulation). After being transported to different hospitals and doctors and treatments, we still don’t know what the cause is. Throughout this, Esther’s parents drove up from central coast and have been by her side as much as possible. Unable to stay past visiting hours in the ICU, her parents have been paying for hotels and food every single day. With her current condition, it is still unclear when she will be discharged, and when they can all go home. She still has a long fight ahead of her and will need all the support she can get. She will take a medical leave of absence from school for the year, and make a return next spring. With her entire life changing in an instant, I want to support her as best as I can. Any donations will be greatly appreciated and go towards helping their family with medical costs, living costs, college funds, and rehab expenses. Above all else, please spread the word!
