Hello, my name is Leslie Hernandez and my family and I would like to start this GoFundMe page for our brother Estevan Moreno. To most people who know him knows he is the most kind hearted person and a friend to all. Recently, he was diagnosed with NMDA receptor encephalitis , which is an auto immune disease that occurs when the body attacks the brain he has been hospitalized since January 30 and transferred to UT Southwestern Medical Center on February 16th. He has suffered from two seizures, and goes through periods of psychosis, memory loss, confusion and disorientation, hallucinations, agitation, and more. As most cases people make a full recovery however it will be a long journey, and with that comes a long list of medical bills. We understand that you may not be able to help, but anything will help including prayers. I also wanted to raise awareness that this rare disease affects 1 out of 1.5 millions people per year!
