My name is Miriam and I am trying to raise some money to help our community corn lady. Vender Stay safe and sound during this difficult time for our street vendors and Hispanic community.. I’ve been buying corn and snow cones from Estela for about 5 years and she’s been very friendly and talkative with my mom for even longer, and it wasn’t until recently that I started talking to her and found out that she had not been selling in weeks because she was scared to be picked up by bounty, hunters, or ICE and leave her 7 year-old son behind. She is originally from Puebla Mexico. This is her only source of income since she got to this country and she is expecting a baby that will be born in 2 months. I am hoping that with his fundraiser, we can help her stay home safe until she has her baby especially in this heat and persecution that we are going through here in Southern California..

mi nombre es Miriam, este fondo es para poder ayudar a la señora que por años ha vendido Elotes por mi cuadra y en la ciudad de La Puente California,donde yo vivo hasta hace poco me enteré que tenían 4 semanas que no salía a vender por miedo a que la detuvieran y deportaran y deje a su niño de 7 años en este país solito también me enteré que está embarazada y se alivia en 2 meses y por ese motivo quiero recaudar fondos para que pueda ella quedarse en casa y se cuide y pueda dar a luz a su bebé sin peligros en la calle. Espero que me ayuden en esta causa para poder mantenerla a ella a su hijo de siete años y a su bebé en casa, sin preocupaciones sin peligro y de ningún tipo de riesgo.
