Help Estela Finish Her Teaching Degree

My name is Estela and I am an aspiring teacher, I am a mother to two amazing kiddos, and I live in Anaheim, Ca.
I have worked with children since 2012, starting as a program leader in an afterschool program. Working for this afterschool program helped me pay for community college and changed my mind on my career path. I wanted to be a psychologist but I fell in love with working directly with children. In 2016, I started working with a school district in Orange County and have worked with students in the special education department since then. I have worked with students of all age levels and different abilities. I have even worked with students in a hospital setting.
I am raising money to finish my BA in Interdisciplinary Studies. I started this journey with Western Governors University in 2017. Throughout these last seven years, I had to take term breaks due to parenting, health issues and surgeries, a divorce, financial hardships, and unlivable living conditions. The money I raise will help me pay for school and keep myself afloat while completing my student teaching and taking care of financial responsibilities.
I have reached my limit on financial aid, including grants and loans. I applied for scholarships and was lucky with $400 last schoolyear. I have not been able to get lucky with anything this year. So, please, read my story, and share this with friends and family. Any bit counts.
I like to believe that I have what it takes to make a difference in student's lives and to be an advocate that they can count on.
