Estela has recently been diagnosed with leptomeningeal cancer, a rare and aggressive form of cancer that affects the membranes surrounding the brain and spinal cord which has metastasized to other parts of the body. Estela has always been the foundation of our family—a devoted mother of six, a cherished grandmother of seven, and a guiding light to so many. She is a woman of faith, strength, and kindness, who has spent her life serving others. Whether through cooking meals that brought people together, tending to her garden, or simply offering a helping hand, Estela’s love has touched countless lives. She enjoyed working out, being outdoors, and staying active, always embracing life with joy and gratitude.

As the matriarch of our family, Estela has been a loving sister, sister-in-law, and aunt, always putting the needs of others before her own. Now, it is our turn to give back to her. This devastating diagnosis requires intensive medical care, including treatments, hospital stays, and medications that are not fully covered by insurance.
