With the current state of the world, millions of people are facing unprecedented stress, anxiety, fear, violence, discrimination, and so much more. However, there are also many acts of kindness around the world that bring people hope even in their darkest hour.
These acts of kindness include something as simple as smiling, giving an unexpected compliment, stopping to assist someone who looks lost, purchasing a coffee for the person behind you in line, helping an elderly person carry their groceries to the car, buying a warm meal for someone in need, or even simply asking someone if they are okay when you can see they are struggling.
This is what separates us from animals. It is what keeps us human. That is why I have dedicated my life to spreading kindness throughout the world. Today, you too can help spread kindness by supporting our educational nonprofit organization, Support Kindness.
My name is Dr. Zeal Okogeri and I am the founder of Support Kindness which is headquartered in Honolulu, Hawaii. Our mission is to spread the healing power of kindness around the world through storytelling, and to educate people on how they too can cultivate genuine kindness and compassion through meditation.
Kindness is not something that is done for a reward, it comes from the heart and is done as true generosity. That is why recounting stories of kindness and generosities has a way of reinforcing further kind behavior and increased feelings of gratitude. It is our mission to spread that kindness in order to lift people out of darkness, give them hope, allow them to see the good in people, and restore their faith in humanity.
In addition to our educational initiatives, Support Kindness provides humanitarian aid worldwide in the form of direct financial assistance to individuals, families, and communities faced with a crisis. Our aim is to help alleviate suffering and maintain human dignity. We believe that if kindness is universally accepted and applied, everyone would benefit.
So how does Support Kindness reach the world?
Through our website, we’ll offer ongoing online kindness and meditation training programs that will allow everyone to engage themselves and actively participate in educating themselves on acts of kindness FREE OF CHARGE. Anyone from any part of the world with access to a computer/mobile phone and internet can receive FREE kindness training directly from our website 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year!
Our website will be accessible in several major languages to make it easier for people around the world to benefit from our training program. Through our social media outreach campaigns, we will introduce people to our website, and make the world aware of our kindness programs, as all societies can benefit from more kindness!
We will also offer online Teacher Training Programs. Fully trained and qualified teachers from each country will organize Kindness Speaking Engagements in Elementary Schools, High Schools, Community Colleges, and Universities. They will offer seminars, workshops, and training in their own communities.
The headquarters in Hawaii will provide books, videos, and other material to ensure the training is consistent around the world. Support Kindness will also collaborate with other nonprofit organizations with similar initiatives to broaden its reach.

Can you imagine what this world would be like if we all practiced a little more kindness and compassion towards each other? If we all used gentler words, listened with our hearts, and genuinely cared for the wellbeing of others, we could change society as a whole and it is within each and every one of us to do so!
By the way, what is kindness? Kindness is love in action! We can talk about love and sing about love all we want. Until we apply it, we're just talking and singing. Love requires demonstration. That demonstration is kindness and compassion! We need to love more. We need to care more. Support Kindness believes that if kindness is universally accepted and applied, everyone would benefit!
Why is spreading kindness so important to me?
As a young boy growing up in West Africa, I experienced civil war first hand. My family and I were displaced from our home and were refugees for three years, running from one city to another, trying to escape harm. Waking up each morning alive was a reason to be grateful. I witnessed so much human suffering during this war that claimed more than 2 million civilian lives.
There was nothing I could do about human suffering as a kid, but I can do something about it now! Like millions of other people, I feel hurt and disappointed each time I read the news or watch television and learn about hate crimes, wars, human trafficking, racism, police brutality, childhood prostitution, gun violence, and so on. They remind me of the suffering I endured and witnessed as a refugee.
I know the world can do better. I know that if we can develop more kindness and compassion in our hearts, these problems will decline in number. That’s why I decided to do my part by starting this nonprofit organization—Support Kindness. I want to fill the human heart with compassion, kindness, and love, so we can be more caring to ourselves and others. I also want to invite others who feel the same way to join our cause to uplift humanity through kindness and compassion.
Not matter how big or small, every contribution to make the world a better place counts tremendously. To thank you for your generous donation, and to show our gratitude, all donors will receive a free digital copy of Dr. Zeal Okogeri's book.
Everyone who contributes to support kindness, regardless of amount contributed, will receive a free eBook/PDF version of the book, You Can Never Go Wrong By Being Kind by Dr. Zeal Okogeri. This book has won many praises from readers!!
About the Founder & Director of Support Kindness:
As a young boy growing up in West Africa, Dr. Zeal Okogeri was a refugee for three years and survived a brutal civil war that claimed more than two million civilian lives. He can relate to the suffering of others.
He has been a teacher and author in the fields of self-development and spiritual growth for more than 25 years. Through his writings, teachings and storytelling, he inspires awareness.
Dr. Okogeri has also served as a doctor of chiropractic medicine for 20 years, during which time he treated thousands of patients from all cultural backgrounds and walks of life. Many of his patients were our men and women in uniform—active military personnel and veterans. He provided healthcare for members of the police department, public servants, and the general population (the elderly, children, and everyone in-between).
In addition to serving as a clinician, Dr. Zeal Okogeri was a faculty member at the University of Hawaii, Manoa-Honolulu, where he taught a graduate course in Clinical Finance and Economics, to prepare graduate students for healthcare corporate leadership. When he's not busy caring for patients or teaching, Dr. Okogeri leads weekly classes on kindness storytelling and meditation, during which participants share stories about how they were transformed by unexpected kindness from people, especially strangers; and how their gifts of kindness transformed others. Recounting stories of kindness and generosities has a way of reinforcing kindness behavior and increased feelings of gratitude.
Dr. Zeal Okogeri has traveled to more than 35 countries for awareness, and leads meditation retreats to Tibet, Nepal, and India. He is the author of four books, including his most recent book, You Can Never Go Wrong By Being Kind — an anthology on the transformative potential of kindness and compassion. Dr. Zeal Okogeri’s mission is to fill the human heart with compassion, kindness and love, so we can be more caring to ourselves and others.
