This go fund me is being made for my cousin Nicole whose cat is sick. She is our family cat and we are asking for donations to help her live a longer life. She is well loved and a beautiful cat.

Essence has been part of my life since she was a tiny kitten, and now, at 12 years old, she’s facing one of her biggest challenges. Recently, she was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, which has caused her to lose weight, vomit frequently, and develop a rapid heart rate. Watching her go through this has been heartbreaking, and the costs of her medical care have quickly become overwhelming. As a senior tabby cat, Essence needs specialized care, including bloodwork, daily medication, prescription food, and regular monitoring. One of the most promising treatments for her condition is radioactive iodine therapy, which could potentially cure her hyperthyroidism, but it comes with a significant price tag. There are also follow-up visits and ongoing care that she’ll need to stay healthy and comfortable. I never imagined I’d be in a position where I’d have to ask for help like this. I feel scared and lost trying to navigate her diagnosis and the costs of treatment. She means everything to me, and I just want to give her a chance to feel better again. This has been one of the hardest things I’ve faced. I feel heartbroken seeing her sick and knowing there’s a treatment that could help her — but struggling to cover the cost. She’s family to me, and I’m fighting for her. I’m beyond grateful for everyone who has donated and shared.
