Help essam and his mother evacuate to safety.

Hello, my name is Rami and I’m raising money on behalf of a close friend ,Gaza has become uninhabitable and thus we’re looking to help out however we can. These funds are being raised by me and will go directly to the Essam’s family, they need to live like any human being on the face of the earth in freedom, away from displacement, starvation and the ongoing genocide against them.

here is Essam's story written by him:

Hello world,I am Essam Hussam Abu Shahla, I live in Gaza ,and I’m a 21-year-old university student studying software engineering. It is the specialty that I’ve dreamt of studying ever since I was young.

My father passed away when I was 10 years old leaving only me and my mother. Becoming an orphan in an early time teaches you self-reliance, I was ambitious and worked hard to become responsible towards my mother and mySelf as well, to provide us with a living.

The family house which is the last thing my father left to us got destroyed in the blink of an eye by the Zionist war machine and the university I was studying at got demolished, too. The Zionist war on my city took away our memories and dreams along with our safety. Therefore, the most thing I am concerned about at the moment is evacuating my small family to a place where we are not under the threat of the genocide and where I can complete my education.

The house that holds all our memories and our previous days has become part of the destruction in my city. I do not know how I will be able to rebuild it and who can bring back the memories.

Our struggle in this war:

Since this war started, my mom and I have struggled a lot. It all began on October, when we had to leave our home and our city in a hurry, only grabbing important papers and a few clothes.Notice" As winter came, we struggled because we didn't have warm clothes, and the stores were empty due to closing rafah border".

This is a picture of the destruction that occurred in my neighborhood in the first days of the war while I was in my house, where the bombing was only a few meters away from us.

Then we decided to stay in khan Yunis, hoping we could go back home, but soon those hopes began to fade little by little, and our suffering with my fear for my mother increased every day more and more. During that time, it was tough to get basic things like water ,electricity and the city began to run out of flour (at that time, aid did not enter).

Then, A few minutes after the end of the first truce, shells began falling around us in a terrifying scene. We did not know how we would get out of this horror events alive.

With great difficulty, my mother and I survived those events and went to Rafah, which is witnessing insanely high prices. I will not exaggerate in saying that the prices of basic products have become six times more than the reasonable price.

I want to help my mom and me evacuate to safety , but it's too expensive to leave Rafah and go to Egypt. Each person has to pay more than $7,000, and we just can't afford that. All I want is for my mom and me to be safe and get through this together, but it's really hard when we're facing so many problems.

I hope with your efforts and donations we can raise 15000$ ≈ 13821.90€ in an attempt to secure the evacuation of myself and my family out of Gaza. I am expressing the collective plea on behalf of my family and me that you please consider helping us leave Gaza soon.

The money I am kindly requesting will be entirely spent on evacuating us to safety, So that everyone is fully aware of the amount’s details, it will be spent as follows:

1- The cost of my mother and I moving to Egypt by paying the transit cost is $7,000 per person = (14000$ for us ) ≈ 12901.49 €.

2- 1000$ ≈ 921.46€ for renting a house for 3 months in egypt until finding a job and start rebuilding my life.

These are the basic needs for us to reach safety.

3- 435.62$ ≈ 401€ is the fees that the site will take from the required amount.
