Hi my name is Stacie and I am a single mum to Esme who is 9 years old.

Esme was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy when she was 1 years old. For the past 9 years I have been able to lift Esme out of her chair and onto the toilet or sofas etc however Esme has just recently has spinal surgery where she has had her spine rodded due to Scoliosis, this now means Esme can ONLY be hoisted. This is fine as her home is fully adapted to meet her needs but now means to go away on holiday or to even visit her grandparents, aunties , friends or days out she is unable to use the toilet or move out of her chair. This will make her isolated and lonely which will affect her mental and physical health. She is a beautiful, bubbly young girl full of love who just needs a helping hand.

I am fundraising to buy Esme a collapsable / portable hoist so wherever she goes it can travel with us and she can lead a normal life like she had before she had spinal surgery. If you can help in any way, big or small, it would be greatly appreciated.
