Hello, friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

It is with a heavy heart that I’m reaching out to you today. My best friend, Esme,has just suffered the heartbreaking loss of her beloved mother. Anyone who knows Esme understands what an incredible, loving, and selfless person she is—always the first to lend a hand, offer a listening ear, and be there for the people she loves. Now, she is facing a time of grief and loss, and we want to be there for her the way she has been there for all of us.

As you can imagine, funeral costs can be overwhelming, especially when the loss is so fresh and unexpected. In light of this, we are starting this GoFundMe campaign to help raise funds to cover the expenses of her mom’s funeral, memorial services, and other related costs. No one should have to worry about finances while they are grieving, and we want to relieve some of that burden for Esme during this incredibly difficult time.

Es con el corazón pesado que me dirijo a ustedes hoy. Mi mejor amiga, Esme,acaba de sufrir la dolorosa pérdida de su amada madre. Quienes conocen a Esme saben lo increíble, amorosa y desinteresada que es: siempre está dispuesta a ayudar, a escuchar y a estar ahí para las personas que ama. Ahora, ella está atravesando un momento de dolor y pérdida, y queremos estar a su lado de la misma manera en que ella siempre ha estado para todos nosotros.

Como pueden imaginar, los gastos funerarios pueden ser abrumadores, especialmente cuando la pérdida es tan repentina e inesperada.
