Hello, my name is Carla Santos and I’m writing on behalf of my beautiful family member, Esmailin Suarez Novas, a brave 14-year-old girl who is battling stage 4 neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive childhood cancer.

Despite going through months of painful treatments including chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation nothing has been able to stop the spread of the disease. Each time we’ve hoped for a miracle, we’ve been met with heartbreak.

Esmailin is strong, loving, and full of dreams. She loves music, drawing, and spending time with her loved ones. She has so much life left to live but right now, her only chance for survival lies in a life-saving treatment in the United States that is not available in our country.

We are seeking to raise $10,000 to cover:

• Medical treatments and hospital bills

• Travel expenses for Esmailin and a caregiver

• Lodging and food while in the U.S.

• Ongoing care and support
