Help Esia’s Recovery From Brain Tumor Surgery
The Emergency
On November 17, 2020, my beautiful
sister fell into a debilitating, life
threatening seizure. Subsequently she
was placed in a medically induced coma,
in a fight for her life. As I write this, I find myself in a constant state of disbelief of
how life can be so cruel. My big/little
sister, pseudo “mommy”, supporter to all, “Morning” to some, friend to most, and
light of our world was a shell of her
former self... unrecognizable. Yet oddly
enough, this series of very unfortunate
events led to an unexpected revelation, a blessing in disguise...
Doctors uncovered the presence of a
lemon sized tumor that had invaded her
frontal lobe. Brain surgery was the
chosen method of resolving her current
circumstance.
The Surgery
On April 21, 2021, Esia underwent life
threatening surgery to remove the
tumor. The surgery was a success and
nothing short of a miracle!
The Recovery
The tumor is gone, but with it, dissipated the life she had once known. Now legally
blind, faced with dizziness, headaches,
and relentless pain, she is in a constant mental and physical struggle to live with new limitations and the road ahead
unknown. But, she continues to fight!
Each day is better than the day
before.
Esia is blessed to have the physical
support of family and friends. It is my
greatest hope that those who love her as I do, can help by making a small donation to ease the burden a devastation such as
this can create.
My sister is a fighter, a super hero... my
hero!
Love and Blessings Always ❤️
