This doesn't come easily, but I find myself in an untenable living situation and must move.

I am currently living with my ex-girlfriend, and have been subject to unpredictable bouts of verbal & emotional abuse.

I am now trying to raise as much as possible to fund a move to southwestern Washington state, ASAP.

I originally moved to Las Vegas with my then-partner (at the time), but our long-existing baggage grew too great and we broke up not very long after moving out here. Additionally, I was pressured into getting a job ASAP to help her pay for necessary expenses (aka the debt she racked up, part of the aforementioned baggage), but the job since then has been incredibly lackluster. My hours have remained inconsistent for weeks, and the way my ex/roommate has insisted on splitting the bills, I barely have enough on a monthly basis to put away into savings.

I really, really need help.

I need to leave this place. I have tried for months to reduce the situations that would prompt arguments with my ex/roommate, but even my silence won't protect me from unnecessary, abusive comments. I have to drive her car to and from work, which she has attempted to police and I can no longer use it to go see friends, they have to come pick me up. She works from home, so if I have any days off and she's at home, I'm coerced into silence for her sake. I'm afraid to say too much because of how her friends have treated me, with their own forms of mistreatment. There have been numerous occasions where she has created schedule conflicts; despite my transparency about my work schedules, she'll overlap with me, and often take the car on days I have to work, leaving me to navigate via bus (which takes very, very long and is sometimes inconsistent, as bus routes experience delays). This has resulted in me being late for work, or outright missing shifts, and I'm already sitting on my first write-up for my attendance due to her negligence.

I'm looking to move up to southwestern Washington with my new partner, a good friend whom I've known for years. But the move is more expensive than expected at this time of year. Any and all help is greatly appreciated; the faster I can raise money, the sooner I can be out of this oppressive living situation.

I'm just trying to get somewhere I don't have to be afraid of.
