Help Esaa Recover His Leg

My name is Faras Ali, and I started a GoFundMe on behalf of my cousin, Esaa Sabeer. My cousin needs medical assistance after suffering from a devastating car accident in Khartoum, Sudan. The car accident left Esaa with an open wound injury with multiple fractures to both legs, causing him osteoarthritis. He had emergency surgery in Sudan, but the result of the surgery caused greater complications throughout his left leg due to the screws that were inserted during surgery. Now, he is left with two options: Either raise enough money to be able to travel to India and get surgery done to save the leg or get the leg amputated due to the leg not getting any better. Both of these options will assist him to being able to live a normal life. Esaa is an only child and with only his dad who is of old age, he does not have the funds cover either option. Anything you give will help and be a blessing.

He sat in a hospital for three months hoping the puss would go away and the infections would heal, but they grew worse so he had to travel to Egypt for a series of eight surgeries over the span of three and a half years where he first had the screws removed, and the wounds were cleaned, then had new screws inserted. The latest surgery was to insert an external brace with screws going down the leg to stabilize the bone from the fractures that he faced. He’s had this brace for over a year and a half where he regularly goes to the hospital to clean up the puss.

The doctor encourages him to get another surgery to recover and heal the leg in a more qualified institution because the leg is still healthy and in good condition; however, he doesn’t have the funds to travel and get that serious of a surgery done.

Esaa lived with his parents where he took care of his mother who had stage 3 breast cancer and father who has diabetes and Alzheimer’s. Sadly, His mother passed away a few months ago as she was not treated because they were using their money to take care of Esaa’s leg. They have barely been able to manage with multiple surgeries, but they need assistance now more than ever to get him back to good health. It is only Isa and his father who are both unable to work due to their conditions. With this money he will be able to get back on his feet and provide for his family.

Esaa is a very selfless individual as he is asking for assistance to help his father since he can’t provide for him and is stuck in bed. However, he is in dire need to be able to recover the leg, let alone walk again.

My goal is to raise $40,000 to help Isa and his father from this tragedy that has been ongoing for the past five years. Esaa is leaning on amputating the leg, but I still have hope that this money will save his leg if God wills.

Lastly, I ask Allah to reward those who donate, share his story, and/or say a prayer on his behalf to give him good health. May Allah grant him good health and recover his leg. Ameen.
