Meet my brother, Eryk. A kind soul. A friend to all. A gentle heart with a strong, lead-by-example personality.. Eryk's life was turned upside down at the young age of only 27, just a few months shy of graduating from Harding University in Searcy Arkansas, where he has spent the last near decade devoting his time, and energy to furthering his education in order to become a pharmacist. All Eryk has known for such time is work, studying, and devote engagement in his curriculum so that he may 'start his life out' with his dream career. Four months prior to graduating, while at a clinical for his doctorate program, Eryk began to experience debilitating symptoms such as dizziness, poor depth perception, nausea, difficulty seeing clearly, and a headache unlike any he had ever experienced before. Eryk left his clinical that day only to find himself in the hospital with a CT scan that showed a person's worst nightmare; brain tumors. A lot of them. The following week was Eryks personal week of hell on earth. Multiple hospital transfers, multiple scans, bloodwork, PICC line placed, multiple other needle-sticks for various reasons, overwhelming fatigue, fear of the unknown... BOOM. Doctors now reveal Eryk has Cancer. A rare type of sarcoma (that even now, almost two months later, is still unidentified). Slowly more information is released. "Eryk's cancer stemmed from his leg, it has spread to his lungs and to his brain."

Since Eryk and our family have found out this crushing news, Eryk has undergone targeted radiation to his brain. He has lost near all of the hair on his head, and he still faces other therapies and surgeries to tackle the cancer in the parts of his lungs and leg.

Eryk has been so strong throughout this entire ordeal. He has exhibited extreme mental stamina while keeping himself positive, and realistic. He is determined to keep fighting. He is determined to beat this cancer against all the odds, but he needs our help.

Since Eryk has been a full time student for near a decade, he has no means to deal with the bills flowing in from various areas as a result of his diagnosis, treatment, and the tentative treatments to come.
