Hi, we’re Ery and Alan, and sharing this is not easy, but it comes from a place of hope.

From the beginning, we always knew that becoming pregnant could be a struggle due to Ery’s diagnosis. Even with that knowledge, we held onto hope and did everything possible to prepare emotionally and practically for what the journey might look like. As time passed, that hope turned into countless appointments, tests, and difficult conversations. We visited many clinics, asked endless questions, and worked hard to understand all available options. Through that process, it became clear that IVF is our best chance at becoming parents.

The emotional toll has been heavy, but the financial reality has been just as overwhelming. IVF in the United States is incredibly expensive and far beyond what we can realistically afford on our own. After extensive research and careful planning, we made the decision to pursue IVF in Mexico. Even when factoring in travel, lodging, and time away from home, it is significantly more affordable than receiving the same treatment close to home. The clinic we have chosen is reputable, experienced, and has provided confidence and hope during a process that can often feel discouraging.

Asking for help is not something that comes naturally to us. We have tried to carry this journey quietly and independently, but we have reached a point where we cannot do it alone. Donations will help cover the costs of medical procedures, medications, travel to and from Mexico, and recovery, all of which bring us closer to the chance of growing our family.
