Help Ernie to become mobile once again!

Hi Everyone:

My name is Sue Enberg. Ernie and I have been very close friends for about 25 years now (it's so hard to believe!).

Ernie has such a HUGE love of life and has been a social butterfly for as long as we have known one another. He is a free spirit, a man who loves to travel, to connect with nature, and spend time in community.

Unfortunately, in recent years, his spinal stenosis - and the pain that comes along with that condition - has become much, much worse. Now, Ernie is only able to walk about 20 feet with the assistance of a walker, and this has been spiritually devastating for him. He is stuck at home, and although we are working to get him everything he needs to be safe in his home, he has been unable to get out into the world as he loves to do.

So, a friend of mine currently has an electric scooter up for sale and Ernie would love this so that he has the opportunity to be able to independently get out into the world once again. Can you help Ernie to regain his sense of independence and freedom? Any donations, big or small, would be greatly appreciated.
