Ernie Stratton's Dental Fund

This an appeal on behalf of an  old friend and classmate. Ernie is a great guy who worked hard all his life but fell onto some rough times coping with a difficult divorce and with a an accident followed by a slow recovery from as head injury as well as a leg injury that has kept him from his usual work driving a truck.

Right now, Ernie has a dental infection and urgently needs to have all his  teeth extracted and replaced with dentures secured by implants. His current job at an auto parts store covers his basic expenses but is not enough for his dental work, but he earns slightly too much to get help from MediCal.

 There are no programs available to assist someone in Ernie’s situation.  He is a good example of how easily a deserving and hard-working person can falls between the cracks! 

Times are tough right now, and Ernie is not usually one to ask for help, but if enough friends could  contribute just a few dollars, it could give him his smile back and put him on the road to better health and hopefully also a new relationship .
