Help Ernie Hase Regain His Vision

My name is Sherry Ross. I am desperately seeking funds for my son, Ernie Hase. He is blind in both eyes from cataracts that were left untreated. He is a proud member of Liberty Fire Company for years in Bangor, PA. He is very dedicated to this department. Now all has stopped for him because of his vision. He never took handouts from anyone. I know he will be upset with me because I decided to do this. But he can’t go on like this.

He has no insurance and no money and of course cannot work because he can’t see. He needs surgery done as soon as possible. If anyone can find it in their hearts to help him, it would be so greatly appreciated. I will be forever grateful and he will be too. I don’t know what else to do. As a mother, this is hurting me terribly. He needs to see again so he can get on with his life. He so loves his brothers in the Fire Company and it is hurting him so much that he can’t fight fires, organize fundraiser events for the department, do maintenance, and so many other things for the company.
