Hi there, my name is Ernesto. The past two months have been incredibly difficult for me and my two kids, whom I love with all my heart. Two months ago, I lost my job and since then, I’ve been doing everything I can to keep us afloat—working prep jobs, DoorDash, you name it. Despite my best efforts, it just hasn’t been enough, and I’ve exhausted all my emergency funds trying to make ends meet.

Recently, I was relieved to find a new job that I’m set to start on April 16th. Unfortunately, just as things were looking up, I suffered a serious fall and injured both my legs and ankles. I’m now in intensive physical therapy, working hard to recover so I can get back to work and provide for my family. On top of that, someone stole a significant amount of money from my account, and a hit-and-run accident destroyed the back end of my Jeep. I had to use what little I had left to fix it, just so I could keep working and taking care of my kids.

Right now, I need help covering utilities, back owed rent, my car payment, medical bills, groceries, and other essentials. This support is only temporary—I expect to be back on my feet in a month or so once my salary checks start coming in. I’ve invested so much time, energy, and love into making a safe and happy home for my kids, and it’s hard for me to ask for help.
