I am Ernest Rogers in Georgia. I have been diagnosed with tongue and throat cancer at the age of 68. In 2002, I was diagnosed with stage 4 tongue and throat cancer. I underwent brutal treatment at Grady Hospital in Atlanta, GA, resulting in losing 140 lbs. with a feeding tube and losing my teeth. After a year, in 2004, I returned to and graduated from college in 2010. I married my wife Linda, a nurse of many years.

Last month (March), a tumor returned and started growing on my tongue. I will have surgery to remove the tumor and most or all of my tongue and throat surgery for two places there as well. I will incur major hospital expenses. I will be unable to speak until I have reconstructive surgery, and possibly a tracheotomy on my throat.

My life has been full as a drummer and artist. I have two sons who are and have been in the military (US Marines and USAF). And, I am married to Linda, a nurse of 44 years. Help if you can and God Bless.
