Erjola Prifti is the heart of her family—a loving mother of three and a proud new grandmother. Her greatest joy is being surrounded by her children and grandchild, and her love for them gives her the strength to face even the darkest days. In December 2024, Erjola received the devastating news that she had an aggressive uterus tumor (G3). Since then, her life has been a series of hospital visits, surgeries, and treatments, each one more challenging than the last.

Despite enduring surgery, 30 sessions of radiotherapy, and 6 rounds of chemotherapy in Albania, the cancer persisted. Refusing to give up, Erjola and her family traveled to Turkey for specialized care, hoping for a miracle. The treatments there have been incredibly expensive, and after months of fighting, the tumor remains just as aggressive. Now, her doctors recommend two more years of immunotherapy—treatments every three weeks—and another surgery in the near future. The costs are overwhelming, and her family has done everything possible to keep up, but they simply cannot do it alone anymore.
