Meet Eris. She's a rescued monkey who is getting the love, care, and second chance she deserves. Now she's helping veterans get theirs.
Too many veterans face an impossible choice: get the housing, medical care, or treatment they need, or keep the companion animal who stayed by their side. For many veterans, a dog, cat, or other pet is family. That animal is their comfort, their emotional support, and their most loyal friend.
A Monkey's Uncle is a new Las Vegas nonprofit initiative founded by Micky Lencke, with Eris as its face and ambassador. Our mission is simple: no veteran should have to choose between getting help and keeping their pet.
What your donation will support:
- Safe shelter: a place where veterans and their pets can stay together while they get the help they need.
- Pet care while veterans see doctors: safe kennel space and care so veterans can go to appointments and focus on their health.
- Veterinary care: exams, vaccinations, treatment, and medicine through local veterinary partners.
- Community support: veteran groups, healthcare providers, local businesses, and volunteers working together to keep families whole.

Funds raised here go to the Arbecy Foundation in Las Vegas to support A Monkey's Uncle's work with veterans and their pets. Donations to this fundraiser are not tax-deductible.
