My name is Erin, and I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult times in my life. After spending the last three and a half years caring for my dying mother, I am now waiting for disability assistance to come through. I have lost nearly everything in the process, and the place I’m staying at is about to lose electricity and water. I truly have nothing to my name and am facing the reality of not being able to meet even my most basic needs.

The funds raised here will go directly toward keeping the lights and heat on, putting food on the table, covering my phone bill, and making sure I have gas and propane to get through the winter. Every dollar will help me survive this incredibly tough period and give me a chance to get back on my feet while I wait for disability support.
