Hello family, friends, and the Chester County community; I’m Erin Mills and I need help.

I’m on Gofundme because I’ve been a fighter of Multiple Sclerosis for 15 years now and as my disease continually progresses, the challenges of surviving daily life progress too. I ended up having to leave my almost decade-long job as the Chester County Intermediate Unit Graphic Designer in 2024, and I have been fighting the disability process since June 2025. I have been unable to work during this time and that has payed a heavy price.

In 2020 and 2021 I was also diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia and POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) which has only further complicated treatment plans and life, but I kept going. I kept working at the CCIU with accommodations, I even tried to start my own business the Self Love Society, to help everyone find a hug within themselves during the pandemic, and I’ve been a Pet portrait painter a few times in my life to make ends meet. But my body was not meant for sustaining a normal 30 something year olds life.

Extreme fatigue, memory and cognitive malfunction, weakness in my hands and legs, facial pain and bowel issues run rampant through my body every day, and even though I was diagnosed with MS at 19 I still believe fully in seeing the best in the world.

That’s why I’m here asking my village, my community, for help.

My loving parents and husband have done and are doing all they can to support me until my disability is approved but that has already been a long 9 month process and has been my final option for handling the financial stress my diseases have put on me and my family, on my own.

Some one once told me it takes a village, and I’m calling on mine for help.
