Hello friends, family and supporters! After winning the Challenger Freeride World Qualifier series in March 2023, I qualified for the 2024 Freeride World Tour!!
This is a series of Freeride Snowboarding competitions that takes place in Spain, Andorra, Canada & Georgia to begin with, and ends with finals in Austria and Switzerland. I will be travelling around the world competing on some of the toughest mountain faces there are, against the best freeriders, some with years of experience on me.
To fund my competition series I am already working with some industry sponsors as well as working full time this summer & fall. That being said, training, travel and living expenses are going to be big this winter, and any additional help you give will support me along my journey.
To give you an idea of what these donations will help with:
- Pre-season training (gym, trainer)
- Physio (gotta keep all the parts moving smoothly)
- Early season travel (there's not much snow in Rossland right now so I need to travel to other resorts to get my snowboarding legs under me - which means gas, lift tickets and accommodations)
- Living expenses (I won't be able to work this winter to provide for myself, and still gotta pay rent)
- Travel (gas to get to the airport, and flights across the world)
- Accommodations (the FWT covers some of these expenses, but not all of them)
- Equipment (things break, and wear out, and winter weather is harsh)
- And the list goes on....
