Hi everyone, I’m reaching out today for my cousin, Erin Bennett. If you know Erin, you know she has the biggest heart of anyone. She is the first person to give to others and the last person to ask for anything for herself. But right now, she is facing a nightmare that no pet owner should ever have to face alone. Her dog isn't just a pet; he is her child. He is her world. This past week, things took a terrifying turn. He stopped walking and began collapsing, leading to an emergency vet visit. After a full day of observation, the vets discovered a large mass near his rectum. This mass is physically blocking him from being able to go to the bathroom. The vet sent him home on Miralax to see if it would help, but it hasn't worked. Without surgery, the only other option he has left is euthanasia. Erin is devastated. She is being forced to choose between a price tag she cannot afford and the life of her "son." This should not be her only option. Erin has spent so much of her life helping everyone else through their hard times. Now, I am asking our community to come together for her.
