Help Erin Recover From Berry Creek CA Wildfire
Donation protected
Hi I'm Erin's Sister, Mary.
In 2019, Erin quit her job in North Carolina and moved to Oroville, California to care for our 100 year old great grandmother with health problems. This was a new start for Erin, she planned to get a job, find a place to live and start fresh. Well, the pandemic shut down the job efforts, but Erin had been living frugally and scraping by, waiting for businesses to pick back up and start hiring.

She moved all her things to Berry Creek where a cousin owns the family cabin on Lake Madrone that her great grandfather built almost 60 years ago. She stayed at the cabin part time and in Oroville part time with great granny. She was in Oroville on September 8-9 when the Bear Fire/ North Complex Fire blew up and swept through Berry Creek. The cabin is completely destroyed.

Erin has a few changes of clothes, her car and her cat. She lost everything that she brought from North Carolina to start her new life such as furniture, books and other household supplies . She quit her job in North Carolina and has been doing a very selfless act for the past year in caring for a family member. I just want her to be able to start over.

We would appreciate any donation and thank you so much.
