Help Erin pay hit&run damages to her new car

**Update** A mechanic estimates damages to be at least $4,000 and this is before looking at the engine. We have increased the goal amount due to this. Thanks! **
Our beloved and hard-working team leader, Erin, has had a long and horrible series of events occurring over the last few weeks and she needs our help!!
Thanks to all of you, our wonderful regulars and our neighborhood community who have been supporting us at The Blue Dog since reopening in May, Erin had finally saved up enough money with your generous tips to finally buy herself a car last Wednesday (10/21). Hooray! It was a huge milestone for her, representing tons of hard work and dedication, as well as accomplishing a goal that was set 18 months ago. She had moved back to LA last summer and had been defaulting to renting cars and using Uber for the last year and a half.
Becoming a member of the Blue Dog family 5 months ago represented restored hope and faith that everything was starting to fall into place in her life. It seemed like finally everything was on the upswing... until someone smashed into it on Friday morning (10/23), leaving no note for contact or insurance information. Less than 48 hours with a brand new car and now it's wrecked!! Both the front and back axels are bent/ broken and 2 tires are flat and destroyed. Cosmetic damage can be addressed later, but we just want her to get up and running again.
Her insurance won't cover the total cost of damages and she just spent all her savings on this car, so it's sitting in the parking lot of the Blue Dog until she can afford to pay for the repairs. We don't even know the extent of the damage yet, but its gonna be a doozy.
Can you help?
Also- the person who crashed into her car left pieces of their car behind at the scene, so we know it is a BMW 5 series, 2010-2016, in Mineral Grey (a medium/ dark grey color). The accident occurred on the southbound side of Sepulveda Blvd at Sutton St. by the 405 on and off ramps around 6:45 am 10/23/ Friday morning. If you have any information about this car or the owner, PLEASE pass it on!!
