Erin Kicks Cancer

Erin wants to share the importance of annual check-ups, had she not been diligent in checking her health, her cevical cancer could have been missed and been much more advanced.  Erin was diagnosed with cervical cancer May, 2019 and underwent a LEEP procedure to confirm her abnormal test results before deciding on a course of action. Erin underwent a radical hysterectomy June 17th, 2019 that left her in the hospital for a week. While Erin does have health insurance, it only covers preventative and wellness leaving her a self-pay patient.  She is currently undergoing radiation 5 days a week and chemotherapy once a week.  Erin is a mother of two young boys that are her entire world. Since she has started chemo and radiation she has not been able to be the active mother that she normally is. Though her workplace has been very supportive, she has had to miss a tremendous amount of work during surgery, recovery, and treatment. Erin is struggling to stay on top of impending medical bills that have already started to arrive as well as ongoing household expenses. Her focus has been on recovery and getting back to her life with her boys. Erin has an amazing heart and would be among the first to help those in need around her and now it is our turn to help her. Please consider helping this mom so that she can focus on getting well to continue to be the best mom to her sweet boys.
