Help Erin Hendry fight Breast Cancer

My name is Heather Valcourt and I am raising money for my 28yr daughter who has been recently diagnosed with Stage 3b Triple Negative Breast Cancer. This is her story, in her words:
"June 29, 2021, my entire life changed.
It was when I saw the concerned look on my nurses face performing my first ultrasound on the mass that had grown significantly since August 2020, that I knew something wasn't right.
The doctor immediately got me in to get a mammogram and also performed a biopsy (6/24) of the mass. The doctors told me my lymph node was concerning as well but due to it being on a main artery it was too risky to biopsy.
5 days later and the results are in. The nurse calls me and Robbie to the back and sits us in this room and I knew what was about to happen would change our lives forever.
The ringing in my ears was so loud and my heart was beating so fast I could hardly hear, but when she spoke, it was clear. "Stage III Triple Negative Breast Cancer."
At 28 years old and no environmental fault of my own, I have been diagnosed with the most aggressive and complicated form of cancer. It doesn't feed off the 3 normal hormones and proteins that most cancers do so this makes the doctor's plans for treatment so much more difficult. We are hoping that after my first 6 months of chemo treatments that the tumor will shrink so that surgery can be done to remove the cancerous tissues.
The body scan showed that it has affected my lymph node but does not appear to have spread anywhere else. The Oncologist is treating this with an aggressive approach and will make changes depending on the genetic testing outcome. The oncologist has rated this cancer as stage 3b and is going to be using an neoadjuvant therapy. Chemo will start on Monday 7/12 and go once a week for 12 weeks. Scans will be done to check the progress throughout the 12 weeks.
I am a mother of a 3yr old daughter and I can not imagine or think of the what ifs. I will fight this battle with all that I have in me and then some. "
Now that you have heard her story please know that I would like to help her financially with this journey. I am happy to know that she is blessed with a loving partner and the father of her daughter. They have already paid over 3K in medical costs and this is just beginning. Yes they have insurance but the deductible is 5k and there will be more costs outside of just the treatments. The cost of indirect medical costs will be a huge strain as insurance won't cover the majority. Erin has since had to leave her job due to surgery (placement of a chest port) and the many medical appointments, not to mention the fatigue, anxiety and brain fog that the doctor stated was due to the cancer. Our journey is just beginning and it will be a tough, emotional and long journey. Please keep Erin in your prayers and if you can contribute, it would be a blessing to her and her family.
