Help Erin and Izzy Overcome Medical Hurdles

My name is Megan and I am a volunteer at San Jose Animal Care Center. As a volunteer, I wear many hats. One of the most rewarding roles I play is as an adoption counselor. I am a matchmaker for dogs and their forever homes. One of the best matches made is between Mia, now Izzy, and Erin. As soon as they met, the bond was sealed. As soon as Erin got Izzy home, she did only what a good mom would do and took her to the vet for a check-up, and it turns out that Izzy has ruptured both CCLs and is in need of bilateral TPLOs, which will cost $20,000. Erin and her husband are committed to Izzy and instead of returning her, as most would do, they are pulling the funds out of their retirement. So, I ask you all for help to give these two some assistance to show our gratitude for doing the right thing and to help them get to retirement as planned so they can spend it all with Izzy.
