Hi I’m fundraising for my sister and her boyfriend Corey. On August 8, 2023 a wildfire spread through the town of Lahaina, Maui destroying many homes and businesses. My sister and her boyfriend lost their home as well. Thankfully, both of them are safe. However, they will need to rebuild their lives again. They lost their home and most likely their jobs as a result of the fire. Since they were both at work at the time of the fire they were unable to retrieve anything valuable from their home and only have the clothes they were wearing at the time. The heartache of losing their home but also the irreplaceable memories and photos is indescribable.
We cannot thank our family and friends for stepping up in this time of need. Our cousin has graciously offered them his Ohana unit for them to stay for the time being and everyone’s outpouring of support has been amazing.
