Hi! My name is Erin, I'm a trans woman who has been trying for years to save up for facial feminization surgery and I've finally hit a dead end. I’ve worked tough full-time jobs my entire adult life, but I’m not getting any closer to being able to afford it. Even if I get a large amount of insurance coverage I’m still tens of thousands short. FFS is a procedure that would absolutely change my life for the better but as of now it’s an impossibility.

I’ve also been undergoing electrolysis (hair removal) for over a year, after multiple years of laser to mixed results. Laser is cheaper and faster, but it doesn’t work well due to my hair color. Electrolysis has cost me ~$500 a month out of pocket and it's bringing me into debt. Having facial hair is a huge source of dysphoria I have to deal with daily and getting assistance with this would dramatically improve my quality of life.

I’ll need a minimum of $5,000 to finish my electrolysis and a minimum of $15,000 to cover my FFS, not including travel costs and time off work for recovery.
