A bit of history…

I worked hard all my life and saved for retirement. I was one of the first female firefighters in northern AZ back in the 70’s.

Eventually I went back to school and worked in the mental health field for 17 years until I got thrown into a wall by a patient who was trying to AWOL off the unit. I sustained a bad neck injury, and both my wrists required surgery. It ended my career due to the fact that I was still young when this happened my Social Security didn’t accrue very much and I used all my savings to support myself while waiting to get on social insecurity and Medicare. In addition, I was diagnosed with a genetic lung disorder which attacked my lungs and my liver. I went through a hellish odyssey during the damndemic and currently I’m in an intolerable hostile rooming house situation. A substitute caregiver stole something from a roommate, The landlord has been harping on me and harassing me ever since. I haven’t been able to find a place. I’m on all the waiting lists for senior housing. My lease will be up on February 1, and I’m desperately trying to find housing. Due to the current housing crisis for seniors everywhere. I find that there’s just no place that’s within the price range for many of us. I have several physical conditions and I just can’t imagine being homeless as I do have to have a machine to help me breathe at night. I have numerous other medical issues, on oxygen and in a wheelchair. I can’t just go sleep on somebody’s couch. I need some help. I know many people in the world. I figure if each one of those people just sent me $5, $10 or more if possible, I would have enough to get a place or maybe a forever home. The section 8 waiting list is years long I’ve been on it 2 years. I need some money to subsidize my income until I can get on section 8 or help find a permanent place. PLEASE SHARE!☮️
