Help Erika's Family Lay Her to Rest

Donation protected
Erika, born on April 1, 1980, was a beloved single mother, a grandmother, an aunt, a soccer coach, and most importantly, the anchor of this family. On November 12, 2025, around 10 pm, Erika was in a car accident on the freeway 60; she was pronounced dead at the scene. Erika leaves behind 5 children, ages 28, 23, 20, 17, and 15, her 3 grandchildren, and her 4 siblings.

Erika was a different kind of joy that you could only receive and feel around her, even when all her problems were turning on her. Erika was loved and loved everyone around her and those she met. Erika had a special and different way of caring. She solely funded and created the youth soccer team “Ghostbusters.” She had 4 different age divisions for kids under 15. She started this team because her youngest son wanted to play soccer, and they couldn’t find a team for him. She also noticed some competitive teams wanted to win only. That’s when Erika decided to create Ghostbusters, who play in Whittier Narrows. She said her team was for any kid that liked soccer and wanted to have fun. Her only rule for this team was that every kid would get equal playing time.

Erika was an angel in person, and as of November 12, she became an angel for a second time. Any funds will go towards her services to be able to put her to rest peacefully.
