Support Erika With Her Battle of Stage 4 Appendiceal Cancer

If anyone knows Erika and Trent, they have always been the couple to go out of their way to help others and have never asked for anything in return. They radiate love to everyone they meet, and we are asking for some love back when they are going through the unimaginable.

Erika was unexpectedly diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, which she has since gone into remission. She has had complications since then, and it has been more than they could have asked for. She had to undergo a surgery called the Mother of All Surgeries, called Hipec & CRS, which opened up her entire abdomen, removed any visible cancer, and then was filled with heat chemo. This surgery can come with rare complications that she unfortunately endured 6 months after the surgery. She now underwent a second open abdominal surgery to remove adhesions that were causing her body not to work. She lost an extreme amount of weight and had been unable to eat or drink for 3 weeks. The recovery is very slow as we wait for her body to respond and wake up. She is on TPN to give her nutritional support and an NG tube to keep her from vomiting.

They have endured countless surgeries, doctor appointments, scans, medical procedures, and haven’t been able to work while this has all been going on. She's been in and out of work before September 2024 and hasn't been able to work since then.
