Help Erika Through Her Medical Battle

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Erika Lyday. I was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma cancer in 2017 at the age of 29. I received a full hysterectomy, followed by now my current medical condition. I have undergone so many different treatments, tests, lab works, seeing different specialist, and now having a severe auto immune disorder, fibromyalgia and ataxia-telangiectasia, that is eating my cartilage and muscle. I have been doing chemotherapy for a while and battling this new auto immune disease going on 2 1/2 years now. And we do not have a projected stop date, as my body is being resistant to the treatment currently.

As my treatment plans are changing due to my body not responding well to the treatment, but actually that my body is declining, my increased medical needs are out of the range of my medical insurance coverage. I have a great care team who is advocating for me to the insurance company and disability, but each day that goes by I'm in more pain, and my body becomes weakened. I am now at the mercy of requesting financial aid, grants, and charity. This something I never thought I would have to do. I thought at this stage I would be done with chemotherapy and the other treatments, and that I would have my full life back. BUT that is not the case. My spouse has been my sole taker and has done an amazing job. He has been my provider, caregiver, and counselor without one complaint. Now I'm at a stage where I have to seek financial help.

Any support for my medical care and living expenses would be so much appreciated. This would allow me to pay out of pocket medical expenses like more IV infusions and allow me to focus on my wellbeing by not stressing on bills and treatment coverage. I was not able to have children due to the many tumors in my uterus, and before that I had a condition of amenorrhea and PCOS, that prevented fertility. But GOD blessed me with children anyway. I have 3 smart, beautiful and very loving little people that absolutely adore me. My Niece Bella, and both Nephews Elijah and Noah. When I'm down and out, most day nauseated, vomiting, not being able to eat, or take walks, just thinking about them enlightens my whole day. My life consists of medical visits, chemotherapy and my bed. I have little energy, and my body has become some weak like I'm carry a sack of rocks everywhere. BUT I have a passionate goal to survive this and live. Live for those 3 little people. So that I can see my twin walk my niece down the aisle one day. So that I can see Elijah graduate college with honors one day. So, I can see Noah purchase his first house with hard work and dedication. They are my heart and joy, so I have made up my mind to be strong for them, and fight with all the strength in my body for them. I don't have a choice to give up, I don't have an ultimatum to stop fighting. I know this is added testimony share with the world the strength of GOD that is in me. I have my faith to keep me strong, and my babies to keep me motivated.

Anything will help. Even if you don't have anything to give, a prayer will do just fine. Prayer is the best gift you give someone. And I welcome that and thank you for even just taking time out of your day to send a prayer up to the heavens for me.

I appreciate your time, and GODBLESS you all!
